Banana and Nutella Pancakes with a side of Southsea Coffee Co, Cycle Chic and VeloBeats

So,

Yesterday was pretty strange, the weather was terrible and cold, but fortunately i was indoors looking out at work. I got home tired, gorged on Banana and Nutella pancakes and went to bed. Soooo exciting....

I work at Southsea Coffee Co if you're wondering, an amazing coffee shop in Southsea. Its one of a kind, Tara and Martyn have put so much into the shop to save the people of Portsmouth/Southsea from horrible "Italian" style coffee provided by the big chain coffee shops, which is in a working, we have regulars and i'm sure they'd agree that they now have a greater understanding of coffee and what tastes good and what doesn't.
So check them out over on Facebook : Southsea Coffee Co on Facebook

Be sure to like them and follow them on Instagram and Twitter too :) If you're lucky you might see me on there somewhere ;)

Moving on,

While at work a customer was just leaving when i noticed this in her partners arms...

This is a Lazer Urban Deluxe Wood.
A beautiful looking everyday use helmet, featuring strong leather straps and 16 vents to help keep your cool (and avoid frizzy hair... ladies) This is an alternative to those tacky looking single colour helmets which are available out there.

When i asked about the helmet the customer said that it was bought as a present from Cycle Chic for only £49.99, which may i add is a bargain!! She mentioned the straps didn't itch/scrape against her cheeks either which is a good thing, i find that with my Specialized helmet  i start to get an itch along my jaw after a few hours.

She also mentioned she's the only one in the area that has one, so if you see her riding around give her a shout and mention reading about it :)

Finally I'm of out now,

I'm one of those people that has my earphones/headphones on all the time when I'm out on my own and last year i stumbled upon VeloBeats on Soundcloud.

VeloBeats is run by John Braynard. John creates remix's perfect for riding and sitting at home too.
They range from an hour to 2 hours long and are mixed for different moods, a personal favorite is the Pre-Race Pump, a mix which sinks into my mind and prepares me for the ride ahead.
The Chillstep tracks are really cool for relaxing after a good ride too, you can cool down to some soothing sounds, these are also great for just having on during the day as they're not too noisy.

So please check that out too!

Time to get on Spartacus and enjoy this sunshine :)

Stay Flemish.
